ProShirt

The ProShirt from 986 takes a revolutionary step forward in combating the common problem of driver overheating.  This highly-advanced cooling garment uses a system of fluid bladders and high-performance fabric to wick heat and moisture away from the wearer. 

This is the first garment of its kind which does more than make the driver feel cooler.  It is actually capable of transporting significant amounts of heat away from the wearer in a safer and more comfortable manner than any other system.  Benefits include:

• Over 120 square inches of cooling surface area... Compared to the competitor's 10 inches at best.
• Cooling bladders are placed for maximum contact with portions of the body which exhaust the most heat (see thermal imaging graphic above)
• Large contact area (as compared to tubes) distributes forces, making the shirt very comfortable to wear and suitable for off-road use.  No blistering or skin irritation from tube profiles being rubbed into your skin
• High-performance fabric moves moisture to surface of the shirt where it can evaporate during 'passive' activities when the driver is out of his/her firesuit

• Raglan-style sleeves improve mobility and further reduce pressure points at intersection of Hans devices and shoulder harness straps

• Anti-fungal bladder materials have been used to negate the need for additives or other special treatments
